Meet Me

At an early age, I was bitten by the "dog show bug." I competed successfully in Junior Handling with not only my family's own English Springer Spaniels, but friend's various breeds as well. I soon started showing in the "big ring" and have not looked back since.

I earned many top titles and awards while in Juniors but more importantly, it was a great learning experience. With so many people willing to lend me their dogs and teach me about the breeds, showing, grooming and training, I have developed in many ways. I quickly practised my knowledge in the conformation ring and started training dogs and successfully showing. Good sportsmanship and the happiness and well being of the dogs I show is very important to me. I strive to bring out the best in every dog, working with them to create a great team.

Springsport Kennels; co-owned with my mother Nancy, has been home to English Springer Spaniels and German Shorthaired Pointers alike. We have been successful in having multiple Canadian Champions, Obedience Champions and Therapy Dogs.

I am currently based just outside of Ottawa, ON with my wonderful husband Adrian where I also work part time as an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I am attending many all breed and specialty shows in Ontario, Quebec and will be doing many Maritime shows over the next 2 years where I will be teaming up with Erin LeBlanc.

Aside from showing, I have a passion for photography and fine art (drawing, pastel, etc). Examples of which can be found in the Artwork section of this website.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the very amazing people that have opened up their hearts and minds to me and have made me excel at what I love. You have given me wonderful opportunites, without which I would not be who I am or be able to successfully do what I do. I hope to make you proud.
